The withdrawal of the United Kingdom from the European Union led to the withdrawal of the United Kingdom from the European system of mutual recognition of judicial decisions. The ambition to place French commercial courts at a high level of international competitiveness has increased. This upgrading entails the concentration of international civil and commercial litigation before a single court and the adaptation of French jurisdictional practices to the requirements of such litigation. The report deals with the two fundamental points of the need to set up specialized courts (I) and the arrangements for setting up specialized courts for the settlement of cross-border commercial law disputes (II).
